Shannon is a board certified Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Rutgers University in 2003. She practiced nursing for 17 years, working as a certified school nurse and home health care pediatric nurse. She went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Villanova University, where she graduated with honors in 2019. Shannon joined Advocare in the summer of 2020.

Shannon is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing, Alpha Nu Chapter. She is the recipient of several Bayada Presidential Scholarships and the Carina Joy Rogerson Memorial Scholarship at Villanova University. Shannon has a special interest in allergy and asthma.

Shannon is a life-long resident of South Jersey and resides with her husband and four children. She spends her free time with her family and watching her children play sports, and enjoys reading, traveling, and going to the beach.
